The Buzz Cut:

Eric Prey is a full time fishing guide and part time hippie, he hasn’t had a haircut in 30 months. In an effort to raise money for the Leonard Family Eric is going to have his hair cut on Facebook Live once $2500 is raised. In addition the hair will be donated to Wigs for Kids a non profit organization that takes cut hair and makes wigs for children battling cancer. Your donations will not only help the Leonard family with their expenses but will also bless a child going through chemotherapy have a little bit of normalcy despite their hair loss.

Wishin and Fishin

Hello! We hope that 2019 was great and 2020 brings nothing but love! We are so excited to announce that Wishin and Fishin will merge with Anglers for Life in order to help more people. When you start something you never know what it will change into. Watching the fishing community come forward for kids and others we care about has been amazing! My eyes are watering a tad as I try to type this….

This picture says all the words….Alyssa fought and beat the beast and Jeff is fighting it now. This day he had no idea where his life would take him. He was just taking a girl fishing. Now years later we know we have to be able to help others when they need it too.We have been given the opportunity to work with some great people to reach an even bigger audience to help others. Cancer has hit close to home and in our homes for so many of us.

After talking to Alyssa’s family (who I love more than I have words to express) they agree it’s time to expand!

Our tournament will now be with Anglers for Life (with a touch from us) and we will help those in the fishing community with medical issues who need our help! Our tournament will be on April 10, 2020! Keep watching for more details!!!!

We still work with kids too and grant wishes!

The time has come to let everyone know what our family has been dealing with. A few days ago I was told I have squamous cell carcinoma. The plan is to go to Barnes Hospital in St Louis to have surgery and remove the cancer. During all of this the last few weeks Sonya and I have realized how lucky we really are to have the family and friends in our life that we do. I would ask any of my friends to please pray for our family as the next few weeks will be extremely stressful for us. I have realized a few things since this all started. I am married to a wonderful woman and have a great family. Then there are friends, I have the best friends a person could ask for. And most of all God is good. I have always been a believer but have never felt so close to Him as I have the last few weeks. We will continue to update everyone as things move forward. Please understand if we dont answer your phone calls we are working on a way to keep everyone updated. Thanks for all the prayers and please continue praying for my family and I during this time. God is good.
